UPSSSC PC & BO Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Category-wise merit list shortlisting equivalent to 15 times the vacancy count based on normalized PET-2025 scores.
- Main Written Examination: An objective-type offline test containing 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. A penalty of 25% (1/4 mark) is applicable for each wrong answer.
- Physical Screening (Qualifying Only): Candidates clearing the written merit must clear the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Male Height: General/OBC/SC requires Minimum 167.7 cm.
- Female Height: General/OBC/SC requires Minimum 152 cm.
- Male PET Run: 4.8 Km to be completed within 25 minutes.
- Female PET Run: 2.4 Km to be completed within 14 minutes.

- Part 1 (65 Questions / 65 Marks): Indian History & National Movement (5), Indian Polity & Constitution (10), Geography of India & World (5), Indian Economy & Social Development (10), National & International Current Affairs (5), Sports in India (5), Human Anatomy (5), Environmental Ecology & Disaster Management (10), Data Interpretation (10).
- Part 2 (15 Questions / 15 Marks): Concepts of Computer Science, IT, Internet, MS-Office, Cyber Security, and emerging innovations like AI, Deep Learning, and IoT.
- Part 3 (20 Questions / 20 Marks): General knowledge of Uttar Pradesh covering History, Art, Culture, Economy, Agriculture, and Administration.
