What Happens to Existing Lakshmir Bhandar Beneficiaries?

All the present and former beneficiaries of the previous ‘Lakshmir Bhandar’ scheme will be automatically enrolled in the ‘Annapurna Yojana’. However, this database is currently undergoing a process of refinement (cleansing). Those identified as deceased in the SIR-2026 verification process, those who have moved out of the jurisdiction of their respective polling stations, or those who are categorised as ‘absentee voters’ will lose eligibility for this scheme and will be dropped from the new list.
