Indian Navy Recruitment 2026 : Indian Navy has issued a huge recruitment notification for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer – June 2027 (AT 27) Course. Eligible unmarried men and women can apply online for about 275 vacancies in different branches. Application Process Begins: June 25, 2026 Application Process Ends: July 27, 2026 Selected candidates will be trained at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala and will be inducted as officers.

📌 Selection Process 📌

The selection process has multiple stages

Shortlisting

Based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree (up to 5th/7th semester for BE/B.Tech; all semesters for PG).
SSB InterviewShortlisted candidates are called for a 5-day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
Medical ExaminationCandidates who clear the SSB undergo a medical examination.
Final Merit ListPrepared based on SSB marks, branch preferences, and medical fitness.

 

Note: AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview for candidates appearing for the first time

💰 Salary & Allowances 💰
Selected candidates will be inducted as Sub Lieutenants with a gross monthly salary of approximately ₹1,20,000 per month 

  1. Pay Level Level 10 (7th CPC) – Basic Pay : ₹56,100 + MSP: ₹15,500
  2. Gross Salary : Approx. ₹1.20 Lakh – ₹1.25 Lakh per month (including allowances)
  3. Special Allowances : Pilot/NAOO/Submarine: ₹31,250/- per month (post-training)
  4. Insurance Naval Group Insurance Scheme (NGIS) – compulsory
  5. Other Perks : DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Medical Facilities, LTC, Accommodation, etc.
